There are multiple ways to worship God. Simply look around and see the marvelous works of the Creator's hands and the desire to worship will rise in your soul. You don't need a church building for that, but if you wish to feel the buoyant power of being surrounded by a committed group of people worshiping the almighty Creator of the Universe, Lancaster United Methodist Church is the place to be.
 The Contemporary Worship Service offers energetic praise and spontaneous worship. People of all ages come to lift their voices to their Creator. With worship like this, who needs coffee?

Megumi Kai has been part of Lancaster United Methodist Church for 30 years, and is the only Japanese worship in the Antelope Valley. We have about 20 regular attendees to the service, where we read scriptures and sing hymns in Japanese. We are pleased to have a Japanese minister, Pastor Shiraiwa, and the fellowship is led by Shoko Helm. Choose to be a part of our time together at 9:00 a.m., dressed in whatever is comfortable for you. Bring your voice, your Bible, and an expectant heart. 
Our 10:45 Worship Service offers the traditional Liturgy, and is enhanced by the sounds of our Chancel Choir and pipe organ, the latter of which is one of the few left in the Antelope Valley. The Oliver Handbell Choir also contributes regularly to this service, as do occasional guest artists. If you enjoy the comforts of the Hymnal, classic and modern worship anthems, and powerful organ interludes, this worship is for you!
